Stirling Dynamics provides mechatronic systems and specialist engineering design services for the aerospace and defence, space, marine and energy sectors. From offices in the UK and US, Stirling Dynamics delivers world-leading technologies and engineering capabilities to a global customer base enhanced by a growing network of international partners providing in-country support.

Pete Stirling, Business Development Manager said: “We’re really pleased to have been awarded the IV as it allows us to access skills from a supplier we might not normally have engaged with. Our core capability is engineering, not design, so to enlist the specialist skills of an external expert will, we hope, significantly improve the look and feel of the system. End user experience is crucial to its success, and this aspect should be improved by engaging with the academic partner."

Caroline Clark, Innovation Advisor at Science City Bristol said: “We are delighted that Stirling Dynamics has been awarded this Innovation Voucher and look forward to helping more companies in our region to access external expertise through this scheme. Innovation Vouchers a great way for small companies in the South West to link up with universities, colleges or public sector research organisations."

ERDF Innovation Vouchers are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and are available to all SMEs in the South West Competitiveness Area*.
